Women Should Stick Together

Hey everyone, today’s post is going the be a little different than the normal fashion related posts. Today I am going to be talking about why women should stick together.

First off I want to preface this with saying that we are all human and we all make mistakes, and that’s okay! So in my short 2o years of life I have seen countless women tear each other down in some of the worst ways possible. Why? Why do we constantly think that tearing another woman down is going to make us somehow feel better about ourselves? Don’t you think that we, as women, should stick together? Especially with all the hatred towards us as a gender.

Some men in this world think that it’s okay for them to do whatever they want just because we are women. So shouldn’t we be there for each other and comfort each other when things happen to us? A lot of the time we want to bash women and say that things that are happening to them are their fault. Now don’t get me wrong we don’t have to agree with everything they’ve ever done in their life, but we don’t have to hate them or act horrible to them because of it.

For example, my best friend is a democrat and I am a republican. Do we sit there and scream at each other and hate each other because of our political views? No, we get along just as fine as if we were the same political group. We each understand where we stand on our views but we don’t let that affect our friendship. As women we should look past all the “superficial” things about ourselves and be there for each other, because only women can fully understand women! I don’t think that our religion, political views, color of our skin, etc. should dictate who we are nice to or who we are friends with.

I guess all I’m trying to say is that we should stop bashing each other because we don’t see eye to eye and start supporting each other!

I hope this helped some of you out and opened some of your eyes.

Love,

KimberlyAnn
